The AI Agent That Does YouTube Research While You Sleep

The viral outlier strategy

The system hunts for one specific signal: videos from small channels experiencing explosive growth. When a channel with 500 subscribers pulls 10,000 views on a single video, that tells you something important. The topic has more leverage than the brand. Nobody clicked because of the channel name. They clicked because of the subject itself.

So the agent filters for two hard criteria: more than 10,000 views, and a view count greater than the channel's subscriber count. Content that passes both is worth studying. Everything else is noise.

How the pipeline works

The workflow runs on a simple, durable loop. Browser automation through Apify scrapes the newest and trending videos in the target niche, one hundred at a time, restricted to the last 60 days so the data stays fresh. Conditional logic applies the outlier filter. A dedupe check makes sure nothing gets analyzed twice, and every new find is logged to a tracking sheet that grows into a research database over time.

Then the real analysis starts, in two layers:

  • Transcript analysis. The agent pulls the video captions and runs them through a language model to map the content structure, the key points, and how the messaging is paced.
  • Thumbnail analysis. Vision models break down the layout and composition, facial expressions and emotion, color palette choices, and the visual elements that actually earn the click.

Together, those two layers answer the question that matters: not just what a video covers, but why viewers chose it. That is the insight that separates creators who compound from creators who guess.

The agent produces search-friendly title variations built on what already works, and reframed content outlines that leave room for your own perspective. Not copies. Blueprints for adding unique value to topics the market has already validated. You bring the taste. The data brings the confidence.
